Our exploration ranged from Elk Springs near Glenwood Springs to Missouri Heights. We spent the entire day getting to know one another and Corey began to sense what our needs and wants were in a home and environment. We had a great day and promised to keep in touch. Over the next 18 months, Corey sent us properties that she thought we would be interested in. We became very adept at reading listings and finding the homes on Google maps. Jump forward to June of 2015, and we arranged to stay in Carbondale and get serious about finding a home. Corey spent 5 days with us, non-stop looking at homes. At that time, the market was heating up as were the home prices. We became a bit discouraged, but Corey encouraged us not to worry and said we should keep looking as the market was continuously changing. Indeed, Corey continued to spend a number of weekends with her husband looking at homes we were interested in. She sent us pictures and videos and was always straight with us about whether it was a good fit. For some homes we liked, she would say "No the area has soil and foundation problems." In January 2016, we found a home on Zillow for sale by owner. Corey made arrangements that day to meet with the seller. Several days later, Corey reported back that this was the home we were searching for! We put a bid on the home the next day without ever seeing the property, so much did we trust Corey. We came out in March 2016 and saw the home and it was just what we wanted. The story does not end here! For the next 2 1/2months, Corey did double duty working with us and the seller (remember, the home was for sale by owner). Every time we called Corey, she was there for us. She listened to our needs and concerns and just took care of business. Even though we were not her only clients, we felt that we were! The closing was on June 1, 2016 and was simple and easy. We are both here now and could not be happier. Corey and her husband (and dog) are now our friends. We whole heartedly recommend Corey to be your real estate agent.
